Book Review: The Red Notebook

The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain

Yes, I picked this up because the front cover tells me a story! The actual short novel was great - translated with ease - it's little mystery to be solved. A woman's purse is stolen and man finds it and it peeks his interest... they have some things in common and he is a bit lonely. It's my pick for a book to carry around/read on the train. Not heavy (story or weight) and it's a straightforward farce/mystery. You can't go wrong.
