Book Review: Beneath a Scarlet Sky

Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark T. Sullivan  This is incredible story one man's experience in northern Italy during WW2. Transforming from a boy to a man and a hero, Pino helps Jews escape from Nazi occupied areas to Switzerland through harrowing journeys in the Alps. When he returns home and joins the army, he begins life as a spy at the age of 18. Once you start, you can’t stop reading. I have read so many WW2 books but none about Italy. Fascinating and horrific. Faith, spirit and sheer will.
