Details. Details. Details

It's all of those little details, marks and texture that make art one of a kind. When I look at art, I love to see the artist's hand in the work - their brush strokes, pen marks, maybe where they covered over something. Each medium allows us to add details in different ways - the strikes in metal work - and each stroke leaves an impression. As I create my pieces, I am trying to leave marks for each viewer to seek and find - joyful bits, words, items that might remind them of something. In my pieces, you might see pages from Charlotte's Web (reminding us of childhood, great storytelling, circle of life from Charlotte's babies) or scribbly names and words in the house illustrations. My hope is that the art fills your heart and mind with joy.
